NEWEST-CCUS is an innovative three-year project funded by the European Union to assess the scale of the European market for carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technologies in the waste-to-energy (WtE) sector. Academic and industry experts from 21 organisations and six countries will build on work already undertaken to de-risk and accelerate the development and deployment of CO2 capture technologies tailored specifically for WtE applications.
